Meet Patrick Swindale, an exemplification of a man destined to become a social leader.
Residing in Lakewood, Washington, Patrick Swindale spends every day serving his family, community and pursuing his goals to become a future leader in commerce and society. After graduating from Washington State University, where he was a leader of Kappa Sigma and Alpha Phi Sigma fraternities, Patrick Swindale became an engineer with a ferry service where he works between 50 and 60 hours a week. For most, that in itself would demonstrate what it means to be a dedicated individual, but not Patrick.
At age 23, Patrick Swindale became the legal guardian of his younger autistic brother demonstrating his profound commitment to family. But it doesn’t end there. He regularly assists his sister with her pony club, lectures at his family’s church and helps with the boy scout troop where he achieved his Eagle Scout Badge and became the assistant scoutmaster. Patrick Swindale understands what it means to pay-it-forward, as defined by historical giants like the writer Ralph Waldo Emerson and legendary football coach Woody Hayes. Patrick Swindale is a living embodiment of a modern-day Renaissance man.
You might think there aren’t enough hours in a day to accomplish all what Patrick Swindale sets out to achieve, but he will continuously surprise you with his tenacity for making waves by cresting goal after goal. Even in secondary school, Patrick led the way on his alma mater, Lake High’s swim and water polo teams while still finding time to donate his services to both, St John Bosco Youth Group and The Knights of Columbus. And today, Patrick maintains a 4.0 in his graduate studies at Loeb School for International Business at Maine Maritime Academy.
Future Plans | Patrick Swindale
In route to graduate in the summer of 2021, Patrick Swindale will embark on his dream to become a Licensed Custom Broker. For Patrick, the horizon has no end. This humble man from the Pacific Northwest aims to sail the high seas of international trade. Firmly anchored to his family values and zeal for community service, Patrick Swindale will set an example for future generations setting their course, readying themselves to navigate the turbulent waters of the global economy.
With the type of personality that doesn’t shy away from his heartstrings and gives without question to the Humane Society and St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Swindale is the type of person who characterizes a strong stern and forward bow. I urge you to take a minute and review what way-points Patrick has already set and ponder the ones he’s plotting a course towards.
